The 30th International Conference on Yue Dialects
The Conference is jointly organized by the T.T. Ng Chinese Language Research Centre, CUHK and the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, CUHK, co-organized by the Hong Kong Base of the Joint Research Institute for International Communication of Language and Culture of the Ministry of Education and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance for Chinese, and sponsored by the Faculty of Arts, CUHK and the United College, CUHK.

Workshop on Chinese Language Teaching and Learning for Non-Chinese Speaking Students in Hong Kong
There will be a special panel session on Chinese language teaching and learning for non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students in Hong Kong in the form of workshop during The 30th International Conference on Yue Dialects. We invite abstracts for submission that explore the Chinese language teaching and learning of NCS students in Hong Kong from diverse linguistic perspectives, particularly those addressing issues related to teaching and learning Chinese in the Cantonese-dominant linguistic environment in Hong Kong. Tentatively talks will be 20 minutes, followed by 10 minutes for discussion.
LSHK Award for Outstanding Student Paper on Cantonese Linguistics (2026)
The LSHK Award for Outstanding Student Paper on Cantonese Linguistics is an attempt by LSHK to promote, recognize, and encourage scholarship by young undergraduate and postgraduate students to conduct research on Cantonese linguistics. Starting from 2011, the competition for the LSHK Award for Outstanding Student Paper on Cantonese Linguistics has been held every two years in conjunction with the International Conference on Yue Dialects.

第三十屆國際粵方言研討會期間，將特設一個專注香港非華語學生中文教學的小組討論環節，以工作坊的方式進行。歡迎提交從語言學不同角度探討香港非華語學生中文教學的論文，最好跟香港粵語語言環境中學習中文問題相關。每篇報告暫訂為20分鐘，之後有10分鐘討論時間。
香港語言學學會粵語語言學傑出學生論文獎（2026）
為了鼓勵本科生及研究生從事粵語研究，香港語言學學會設立「香港語言學學會粵語語言學傑出學生論文獎」（以下簡稱「論文獎」）。自2011年起，論文獎比賽隔年在國際粵方言研討會中進行。
